African Vibes
A Monthly Celebration of African Culture

π African Vibes Tour Coming November 2025!
AfriWell Hub is honored to receive support from the Iowa Arts Council through its Art Project Grant program, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts. This award will support our upcoming African Vibes Tour, a joyful, statewide celebration of traditional African arts and culture.
Taking place in November 2025, the African Vibes Tour will bring live music, interactive drumming workshops, dance, and storytelling to villages, small towns, and culturally curious communities across Iowaβfree and open to the public.
Led by internationally acclaimed Ugandan folk musician and cultural educator Samuel Nalangira, the tour is designed to foster wellness, cross-cultural connection, and community pride through the power of the arts.
We are now inviting community members, schools, libraries, and cultural organizations across Iowa to request or nominate a stop on the tour.
